Ode To Timbuktu sweatshirt is my attempt to honor The Masjid Djinguereber. Built by Mansa ( Emperor) Musa in Timbuku Mali on his return trip from Mecca in 1327. Artistically clothed in Mali inspired mud cloth. A center of Islamic scholarship and a beacon of excellence during the Golden Age of Islam.
